Chipping with Nathan
If you’ve played golf for any length of time you know it is impossible to shoot consistently low scores without having a solid short game.
I know a pro who was a Top 100 Teacher in the US who believed the wedge is THE most important club in the bag. Of course there is legitimate reason to believe the putter or even the driver is most important and all are true, in their own way. Yet it can easily be argued that your wedge play will determine your ability, or lack thereof, to post good scores on a consistent basis.
Here’s a great video showing some simple, yet immediately effective, chipping techniques. You’ll notice in the first technique that this method is used by many more players on tour nowadays, even for longer chips. Jason Day comes to mind.
